When Thea Neumann forges artistic forces with partner Clint Pelletier musical bliss is born.

Their musical education and experience has had them performing with a diverse line up of globablly accomplished musicians, including: Herbie Hancock, Dianne Reeves and Jim Cuddy. Both Thea and Clint received scholarships to two of the United States most prestigious music programs, Berkeley University in Boston and Michigan State University. Together, Thea's smoky, rainy-day vocals compliment Clint's Gypsy-Jazz, Flamenco and Jazz guitar like the ultimate in fine wine parings. Their repertoire includes original material reminiscent of the late great Chet Atkins, favorite Jazz Standards from the Big Band Era, and their original works. Both Thea and Clint are members of the WCMA award-winning group "Hot Club Edmonton."

REND is a Soul/Rock, Indie Pop band inspired to inspire. Founded just over a year ago by lead singer/songwriter Carol-Lynne Quinn, Rend has seen great success in the local music scene. They have a musical vision to bring musical and lyrical substance to their music. Whether it’s the anthem like chorus in “Battlecry” or the unique blend of soulful vocals and electric guitar in “Monster”, Rend is fresh, energy filled, and inspiring. With the help of the 10k20 grant from Rawlco Radio, Rend is releasing their debut album in February 2012. Rawlco Radio has chosen Rend as one of the bands they are supporting and has enabled the band to record their debut record. Their debut single “Hide” was released via Itunes on November 18th, 2011.
When you listen to Rend you can expect driving rhythm, synth pop hook lines, lyrical integrity, Zeppelin worthy guitar solos, and dynamic, soulful vocals. They will be embarking on their CD release tour in Spring 2012. Since hitting the local scene just a few months back some big doors have already been opened for Rend. This past summer they opened for the 80’s rock band Harlequin at Taste of Edmonton. They also played at the well-known Shake the Lake fest in Sylvan Lake, AB alongside Juno Winners "Said the Whale". Carol-Lynne Quinn was featured in MERGE Magazines May 2011 issue on professional musicians working and surviving in the music industry.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Lindsey Walker has had a passion for performing ever since she was singing her guts out on her deck as a child. It wasn’t until moving to Edmonton Alberta to study voice at Grant MacEwan University that Lindsey decided to follow her heart – and her guts. Upon graduating with honours, Lindsey was also awarded RAWLCO Radio’s 10K20 grant for $10000 toward her debut album.
Behind the power, soul, passion, and raw intensity you hear when Lindsey sings, you will also hear lyrics that show a vulnerability that really compliments the power behind the song. Between songs, Lindsey treats her listeners as if they are old friends joking and sharing secrets. With each song Lindsey writes, we are invited to see another side of this ever-so talented musician, and with each new lyric she writes we somehow are able to understand ourselves a little more as well.

PLEASE SUPPORT LINDSEY'S INDIE GOGO CAMPAIGN!
